Foto sup 56, verso del supporto secondario: nota anonima manoscritta: "In S. Francesco of Viterbo. Tomb of Clemente IV, [died] 1268 a Franchman who reigned for 3 years in Manfreds time. It was much injured in 1798 by the soldiers of Macdonalds army; it then stood in S. M. in Gradis where it was restored by the Comte Fay de la Tour Manbourg in 1840. It was removed to S. Francesco in 1888 and restored as it now is some years later...".
