Foto sup 2576, verso del supporto secondario: nota anonima manoscritta: "Olympia. Metope from west side of temple of Zeus. Minerva receives the wild birds of lake Stymphalis from Hercules who, by her help, has slaim them. The Nymph, as she was called, and the pead of Hercules are in the Louvre, his body at Olympia, where it was found by the Germans".
